Terms of Service

These terms apply to the Solari website, the Solari Discord game and Shaded card submissions (together, "Solari"). Contact: [email protected]. By using Solari you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use Solari.

Solari is an unofficial fan project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by the owners of any character, series, game or brand shown on its cards, or by Discord.

1. Who can use Solari

• You must be at least 13 and meet the minimum age in your country and on Discord. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms for you and supervise your use.
• One account per person. Alternate accounts are not allowed.
• You must follow Discord’s Terms of Service and Community Guidelines.
• You may not use Solari if you are in a country under U.S. embargo or on a U.S. government restricted-party list.

2. Characters, art and ownership

• Every character, series, name, logo and image shown on Solari cards belongs to its respective owner. Solari claims no ownership of them.
• What Solari owns: its own name and logo, its game rules and code, its interface, its original icons and cosmetics, and the selection and arrangement of the card catalog as a whole. You may not copy, scrape or extract the catalog or its images for another project, dataset, app or website without written permission.
• If you own a character or artwork shown on Solari and want it removed, see Section 9. We remove it; no argument needed.

3. Submitting cards

• Card makers share the responsibility of making sure what they submit is allowed. Submit only images you have permission to use and share.
• You keep whatever rights you have in your submission. You give Solari a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, resize, convert and display it on Solari for review and gameplay. This licence ends when the content is removed, except for copies kept in backups for a limited time.
• Approval is not a statement that a submission is licensed or that its submitter owns it. We may reject or remove any submission at any time, for any reason.
• Banned series cannot be submitted. The list can change at any time.
• No AI-generated art. Card art must be made by people. AI-generated art is rejected, removed if found later, and repeated attempts can lead to a ban. Solari’s own icons, artwork and assets were made without AI image tools.
• Sexual or suggestive depictions of characters who are, or appear to be, minors are never allowed. Such content is removed, the account is banned and it is reported as the law requires.

4. Virtual items

• Cards, Essence, Solarite, Prisma, cosmetics, Premium and every other game item are a limited, revocable licence to use a game feature. You do not own them. They are not money, property or investments, and have no cash value.
• They cannot be redeemed, cashed out or transferred outside Solari.
• We may change, rebalance, rename or remove any item, odds, reward or feature at any time, and may correct or reverse exploits, bugs and mistaken awards.
• Odds for packs and summons are shown in the game.

5. No real-money trading

• Cards, currencies, items and accounts may not be bought, sold or traded for real money, or for anything outside Solari (other games, gift cards, services, other bots’ items).
• This includes arranging deals on other servers or apps. Accounts involved are banned, and items gained this way are removed.

6. Buying Prisma

• Prisma is the only thing Solari sells for real money. It is sold in fixed bundles at the price shown in the Shop and paid through Stripe. Solari never sees or stores your card details.
• Prisma can also be earned by playing.
• From Solari, Prisma buys Premium, the Solari Pass and cosmetics. Solari does not sell cards or packs for Prisma.
• Premium gives extra summon choices, faster summon recharge and better daily and Trial pack rewards. The Solari Pass gives daily rewards for 30 days. What each includes is shown in the Shop.
• Trading Prisma. Prisma can be traded between players like any other item, including for cards and other currencies. Trades are agreements between players. Solari is not a party to them, does not set prices, does not promote trading Prisma, and does not guarantee the value of any trade. You are responsible for the trades you make. Confirmed trades are final, except in cases of scams or exploits (Section 7).
• Prisma is added to the Solari account that started the purchase, usually within a minute.
• All purchases are final once the Prisma is added, except where the law gives you a refund right. Contact support if a purchase did not arrive.
• If a payment is refunded or disputed, the Prisma from it is removed, which can leave your balance below zero. Accounts that misuse refunds or chargebacks may be restricted.
• Prisma and anything bought with it are not refunded if your account is banned for breaking these terms, or if Solari or a feature closes.
• You must be 18, or have a parent or guardian’s permission, to buy Prisma.
• We may change prices with notice in the Shop. Changes do not affect purchases already made.

7. Fair play

Do not:

• exploit bugs, or keep using one after you find it (report it to support instead);
• use bots, scripts, macros or self-bots;
• scam, mislead other players about an item’s value, or take advantage of new players;
• dump your inventory into another account;
• harass, impersonate or threaten anyone;
• post illegal, hateful or sexual content;
• try to break into accounts, systems or data that are not yours.

Completed trades that both players confirmed are final, unless one side was scammed or misled.

8. Enforcement

• We may warn, mute, trade-lock, remove items from, suspend or delete any account that breaks these terms, or to protect players or Solari. Serious cases need no warning.
• Decisions are made by Solari staff. You can appeal through a ticket in the Discord server or by email.

9. Copyright complaints (DMCA)

Send notices of claimed copyright infringement under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act to Solari’s designated agent by email at [email protected].

A notice should include:

• your contact details;
• the work you own;
• the Solari page, card code or link where the content appears;
• a statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorized;
• a statement that your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the owner or authorized to act for the owner;
• your physical or electronic signature.

We remove or disable reported content promptly and notify the person who submitted it, who may send a counter-notice. Under 17 U.S.C. §512(f), anyone who knowingly misrepresents that material is infringing, or was removed by mistake, can be liable for damages. We disable the accounts of users who repeatedly submit infringing content.

10. No warranties

Solari is a free-to-play fan project provided "as is" and "as available", with all faults. We do not promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure, that data will never be lost, or that any item or feature will stay available.

11. Limit of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows:

• Solari and its staff are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost data, profits or goodwill.
• Solari’s total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid Solari in the 12 months before the claim, or US$50 if you paid nothing.

Some places do not allow these limits; there, they apply only as far as the law permits.

12. Disputes

• Contact us first at [email protected] and give us 30 days to try to resolve it informally.
• These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and of the U.S. state where Solari is operated, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any court case must be brought in the state or federal courts that serve that location.
• Consumers outside the U.S. keep any mandatory protections of their country.

13. Ending

• You can stop using Solari at any time and ask support to delete your data.
• We may suspend or end Solari, any feature or any account at any time. If Solari closes, we will try to give notice; virtual items end with it.
• Sections 2, 3, 4, 6 (refund terms), 10, 11 and 12 continue after your account ends.

14. Changes

We may update these terms. For material changes, we will post a notice on the website or in Discord at least 14 days before they take effect, where reasonable. Continuing to use Solari after that means you accept the new terms.

15. Everything else

• If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest still applies.
• Our not enforcing a term is not a waiver of it.
• You may not transfer your account or these terms to anyone else.
• These terms, the Privacy Policy and the in-game rules are the whole agreement between you and Solari.
